Which of the following activities are examples of data organization and analysis? check all that apply A. Drawing a pie chart to show the percentage of fish for each species B. Counting the number of fish for each species C. Running a fish counter D. Transferring the data from the fish counter to a computer program E. Rejecting non-fish species

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Well, which choice is an example of organizing data?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Check: A B C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sry remove C(not confirm)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im thinking its a and b or a and e but i cant decide

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Does that organize your info?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A B and E

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont want to just guess because, i cant get it wrong so i need to choose correctly

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

|dw:1408288106472:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but specifically A and E

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i dont get this right i fail summer school 0.0

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

A fish counter is just a device that counts fish in a stream as they pass.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A and E my final answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

someone answer this guys question which was the same as mine and said it was A and D but idk if its correct

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

It's definitely not D.

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

A and B would be the best answers, because you're collecting and organizing data.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ughhh this is so frustrating i dont know what to put

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see D can be considered only when you go into uber-details...such as fish counter sends data to a computer in which signal sampling takes place(data analysis()/ and organising data in which comp can understand)...now the computer deciphers the signal(again dtat analysis,etc..[see fourier/laplace transforms]...again the smae process take on the upper lvl.. So in conclusion A and E(B can only be agrred upon)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well isnt true that for stats, the pie chart isnt used very much because of the limitation you have of 360 circle. usually other graphs are used

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer was a and b

thanks for you help
