how do i solve 7 5/9- 3 8/7?

i would first convert to improper fractions then, find the common denominator and apply it to both terms then perform the indicated operation then reduce to lowest terms then, if it needs to be a mixed number, convert back to a mixed number

Multiply the whole number out in front with the denominator Add that number to to the numerator put that over the original denominator
