Part A: Solve C = 5 over 9 (F - 32) for F. (4 points) Part B: Determine the value of F when C = 8 °C. (2 points) Part C: Solve –np – 80 > 60 for n. Show your work. (4 points)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so the start for part A is to multiply both sides of the equation by 9 and then divide by 5 so its \[\frac{9C}{5} = F - 32\] you should be able to solve for F now Part(B) substitute C = 8 into the equation to find F Part(C) add 80 to both sides of the inequality -np > 140 divide both sides of the inequality by - p remember, dividing by a negative reverses the inequality. hope it helps
