A person consumes a large amount of water in a short period of time. The increased amount of water in the blood upsets the normal homeostasis of the water-particle balance in the blood. To return to normal blood volme: a) the hypothalamus is stimulated resulting in the excretion of more urine b) the hypothalamus is stimulated resulting in more water reabsorption by the kidney tubules. c) osmoreceptors are stimulated making the person very thirsty. d) osmoreceptors are inhibited making the person not very thirsty.
