well.... the more he owes... the less credible his score would become so the correlation is if you owe too much money, or hold credit card debt, your sccore should reflect that

so.. I'd say... . strong negative correlation think about it this way... if someone owes you $500 and hasn't paid for 6 months would you deem him as reliable for payment? what if he asks you for more money....say $1,000, would you give it? you'd be reluctant, thus his "credit score" with you will be negative and that's is a reflection on the debt he has accumulated for a period of time
