exponential function question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is g(x) the answer? (there could be more than one)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

in f(x) you can tell that it is exponential because the rate of change between x=-3 and x=-2, is not equal to the rate of change between x=0 and x=1. g(x) is also exponential, you are correct on that. h(x) is LINEAR, because you just add 0.25 each time k(h) is exponential because you divide by 4 each time.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

f(x) and g(x) are exponential increase k(h) is exponential decay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is k(x) exponential...? because of the zero(0), the ratios aren't even

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the pattern is to divide by four, but the 0 messes it up.
