If h(x) is the inverse of f(x), what is the value of h(f(x))?

Well since \[\large h(x) = f^{-1}(x)\] we essentially have \[\large f^{-1}(f(x))\] and that will equal \[\large f^{-1}(f(x)) = x\] The function times its inverse will cancel out
