How do you find the domain of a geometric sequence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain consists of the counting numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) and the range would be the numbers correlated with them ( 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16) See http://www.regentsprep.org/Regents/math/algtrig/ATP2/GeoSeq.htm for reference. Hope this helps!

Note: The correlated numbers (1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16) are just an example of a geometric sequence.
