Amy walks 3 m from her desk to the teacher's desk. From the teacher's desk, she then walks 4 m in the opposite direction to the classroom door. Which table correctly represents both the distance and displacement of Amy's motion?
WHERE is the TABLE?
Actually, instead of causing confusion, nincompoop makes a good point. Are the desks considered tables? And another question - if desks do count as tables, is it asking which desk could be used to measure A distance and A displacement (in which case there is one right answer)? or is it asking from which desk could you measure both distance AND displacement (from which it could be argued that either desk is a right answer). The question has some ambiguities... but if I had do decipher the meaning, the question asking what desk could you measure A distance and A displacement from has one best answer...
