So I'm a bit rusty at this stuff but which set of numbers(real, rational, integer, whole, natural, irrational) do -2/9, -square root 10, -31, and square root 121. ty

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

Real: It's not imaginary/complex! Rational: It can be expressed as a fraction, repeating decimal (i.e. .3333333 forever), or a decimal that ends Integer: Positive or negative whole numbers and 0 (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2) Whole: Positive integers and 0 (0, 1, 2, 3) Natural: Positive integers (1, 2, 3, 4, NOT 0) Irrational: CAN NOT be expressed as a fraction, repeating or terminating decimal (pi, sqrt(2) etc.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so \[\sqrt{121}\] would basically be everything but irrational right?

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

Yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright
