I just want to see if anyone knows some cool riffs to do on the guitar. Send me Tabs :) or like nice chord progressions. you know? some nice tunes to show off kind of thing

Right here @DanielK16 . Forget asking people personally for tabs, they can be inaccurate and you'll just waste time. In the guitar world it's really annoying when people ask for tabs, you're expected to find them on your own, or figure it out by ear just like they had to. Many think: "Why should I give you the tab to this song that took me 9 hours to transcribe perfectly just because your lazy and asked?" And then you'll be seen as a troll and ignored. You're not being annoying, but just a heads up. Check out http://www.ultimate-guitar.com . If you have any questions on how to best use the site, or need any help let me know! Hopefully as you get better and practice theory, you can use it as your roadmap to play by ear. That's how it works, there's only so many possible things the player could have done, (if you know the theory) you just have to use your ears and apply it. This will be better for you in the long run as tabs aren't 100 percent, and tabs don't write out the emotional part or how someone may use vibrato for example. You're playing and songwriting will improve immensely with that. Good luck, guitarplayer

@beccaboo333 I know you're being nice, but if you don't have an answer to his question why not hold you breath on it. Me, @Blink-182 , or anyone here could have actually answered the question. I know @DanielK16 's a smart boy, and could have figured the chat part out if wanted to ask there... And we both know the chat is used more to socialize, since the random (with no facts or logic to back them up) rules are in place in the question board.

Just trying to do my little part to make this section useful to fellow users.
