OpenStudy (averley):

okay, so I've been stuck on this for a couple days. I've looked online and whatnot for answers or some help and nothing. So I came here for some help or even just to direct me somewhere where I could hopefully get some answers. Briefly summarize the evolution of the atmosphere, starting with the formation of Earth and ending with the evolution of eukaryotic organisms

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

o poop i dont think you can briefly summarize that lol

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

But i think i found an ok image that will help you,

OpenStudy (averley):

okay, well thanks

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

http://www.teachable.net/1145-evolution-of-the-atmosphere-gcse/ ugh omg this might help too but you have to pay or some crap >.> but you get to see a little..

OpenStudy (abb0t):

There are theories about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller%E2%80%93Urey_experiment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After Earth formed, volcanoes emitted gases and meteorites brought ice, then the Earth cooled and the atmosphere thickened and oceans formed. Cyanobacteria evolved, CO2 levels decreased and O2 levels started to increase. Iron then joined with oxygen in the oceans and deposited in banded iron formations. O2 released into the atmosphere and Eukaryotes evolved.
