Simplify k-3/2 + 3k+1+3k+1/2. a lot of people explained but I don't get it

OpenStudy (triciaal):

group the like terms together all the terms with k together and all the numbers together k + 3k + 3k + (-3/2 + 1 + 1/2) remember 1 can be written as 2* 1/2 k(1 + 3 + 3) + 1/2 ( -3 + 2 + 1) any number * zero = zero so 1/2 *0 = 0 =7k

thanks but it says it's incorrect

OpenStudy (triciaal):

is the original correct? are you just adding? do you have any questions about what I did?

OpenStudy (triciaal):
