Culinary Arts Question: How to get the smell of garlic/onions off of your hands? A. wash hands w/ soap and hot water B. rub your fingers w/ a stainless steel spoon C. rub salt over your hands then rinse with luke warm water

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This really isn't a Bio question lol

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Well I don't where else to put it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok just a sec

OpenStudy (firejay5):

I said C, but found out that salt could dehydrate your skin if you don't wash it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I would go C or A but none of these options seem like they would work very well. I've heard of people using coffee grounds and lemon juice. Sorry I wasn't much of help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? does B work @Vonte12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes use something stainless steel and rub it under cold water like its soap

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh cool :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep :]

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any other questions ? @Firejay5

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@Vonte12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Was I right about about C though

OpenStudy (firejay5):

What's wrong with A or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rubbing hands together with a little salt can do the trick, but be careful not to irritate sensitive skin in the winter time. Maybe not the best if you've got already dry hands or any sort of preexisting cuts

OpenStudy (firejay5):

does A have a problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think it will get the smell off at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by using soap and water

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Why don't you try this little experiment at home and find out. It's not hard and doesn't take long.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He probably doesnt have onions/garlic mayber?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont lol

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Have you tried it before

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol, this conversation though :p

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Rub it under your arm pits, I bet they smell like garlic/onion.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea them are your arm pits buddy i take showers daily and use deodorant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats the way live lol @Vonte12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (abb0t):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (abb0t):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
