what is a complex solution?
@andy11 your relly sexy
@andy11 you there
a complex expression... as you'd know involves "i", or imaginary values so a complex solution will have those too
@jdoe0001 i have a question that involves this question do you think you can help?
dunno... you can always post anew...thus if I dunno someone else may
What's your question ms andy? :)
haha ok so this is the question i need to answer: When solving a radical equation, Amari and Justin came to two different conclusions. Amari found a solution, while Justin's solution did not work in the equation. Create and justify two situations: one situation where Amari is correct and a separate situation where Justin is correct. i just dont know if im supposed to use a complex solution or non-extranious?
I think non-extranious is what they're looking for. Let's set up an equation... ummm thinking... I think the easiest thing to do is to place a quadratic (which has a positive and negative root) under a radical.
No no no that doesn't work >.< Ok ok ok sorry thinking.
i think this is a good source what do you think? http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/52b48562e4b02932bbbf7d00
Ah yes, use that equation ^^ should work out nicely!
ok thank you for your help and opinion (:
wow it's the exact same question lol
haha i know right(:
