yyoooooooooo QUICK QUESTION This has to do with Cellular Respiration, Do 10 ADH's each produce 3 ATP'S? Or is it just 10 ADH produces 3 ATP.. ? mixed me up lol

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

@zepdrix ? // sorry for the random tag.. could you help me?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Mmmmm sorry girl :c I dunno nothin bout no Biology. Just numbers for me lol

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

oooOOhhh okay, lol my apologies !

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Each NADH produce 3 ATP via ETS

OpenStudy (abb0t):

How did you get 10 ADH's to produce 3 ATP??? I think you have things mixed up here.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

Thank you again @Abhisar !

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

lol @abb0t And you would think if i were asking this question I wouldn't be confused already cx // even with what i had typed at the bottom of the question >.< //

OpenStudy (abhisar):

OpenStudy (abb0t):

ADP + P\(_i\) \(\rightarrow\) ATP is the chemical reaction that occurs.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

Thanks c:

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@kaylaprincess what were u talking about ? ADP or NADH ?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

cz i assumed ur ADH as NADH

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Wait, what? Oh I am confused now also, I thought ADP, not NADH. Yes. Please clarify.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

So for my notes i wrote down, Because of Glycolysis & Krebs constantly taking NAD+ NAD+ -> NADH ( adding Hydrogen ) -> .. ? Later used in ETC ? .. ^^^ i then, drew an arrow from the above^ to 10 ADH each produce 3 ATPS ... } ( you don't have to answer this part but, I then wrote an ''and'' by the production of the 3 ATPS to ... FAD -> FADH2, ... so i have no clue about this part ) _______ If this doesn't help, I could scan my note page so you could maybe understand or see better?? o;

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

@Abhisar // @abb0t

OpenStudy (abb0t):

These were taken from previous lecture notes of mine. If you're lost, ask and i'll explain.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

VERY helpful. Thank you for your time !

OpenStudy (abhisar):

yes i assumed it correct....he NADH produced in glycolysis is later used in ETS to produce ATP. Each NADH produce 3 ATP

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

ooooooohhh okay thank you ^.^
