Now, consider a particle shot out of a cannon at some angle experiencing a force Ff, due to air resistance. Draw the force vectors for the object as it is on its ascent. Break all the forces acting on the particle down onto an orthogonal coordinate system. Now draw the component of the force vectors( in a seperate diagram) on the particle as it is on its descent. Hint: It may help to draw the velocity vector asthe force of friction always dirctly opposes the direction of the velocity of motion.

|dw:1408610831365:dw| The forces are the weight and the friction. I'll let you answer the second part: break all forces in components (horizontal and vertical).
