What is the Best way to determine if there are any gaps in your thesis or ideas?

Let someone else check your work. It's always good to get someone elses opinion .

as @ninaesb said, let others read over it. Also you can compare your thesis to others of a similar nature. You can also let it set for a day or two, come back and look at it with fresh eyes and mind and read it as if its someone elses work.
