Anyone want to help with Number System

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, what's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so the first one has the equation\[2(l+w)\]so you'll break it down to \[2+\sqrt{5}+6+3\sqrt{5}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2+6=8~~ and ~~\sqrt{5}+3\sqrt{5}=4\sqrt{5}\]so if you combine them you get\[8+4\sqrt{5}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the option i would come up with is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let me double check, it might be A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah B. sorry, I haven't done a problem like that for a while.
