Need Checking and Help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mokeira):

first is correct, what did you get for second?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help with the rest

OpenStudy (mokeira):

ok..let me try

OpenStudy (mokeira):

\[A=length \times width\] \[A=3\sqrt[4]{8}\times(5+2\sqrt[4]{32})\] when you multiply you get \[15\sqrt[4]{8}+6\sqrt[4]{32}\] let us try and simplify one of them \[6\sqrt[4]{32}=6(32^\frac{ 1 }{4 })=6(16\times2)^\frac{ 1 }{4 }=12(2^\frac{ 1 }{ 4 })=12\sqrt[4]{2}\] so area is \[15\sqrt[4]{8}+12\sqrt[4]{2}\]

OpenStudy (mokeira):

hope you understand my steps
