From my own experience mice that eat peanut butter look 10 times better than mice that eat cheese. Just my personal opinion though.

"pretty" and "better pets" and "ethical" cannot be measured scientifically, so they are not scientific questions.  
Only D involves something that can actually be measured, namely weight and length.
