OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im suppost to describe where i live and it asks for human system

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Huh... that makes no sense to me. Do you mean social classes/caste system or something?

Thinking about what you have learned in this lesson, take an in-depth look at your hometown. Using the terms listed below, write a one-paragraph description of the town where you currently live. Please include the name of your city and state in your description. Place Region Relative location Physical system Human system

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And what have you learned about the human system in the lesson?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the human characteristics of a region and how those characteristics work together to form spatial patterns

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its pretty much asking what the human characteristics (i.e. the places, the foods you eat, fitness, religion, culture, etc.) of the area and how you identify the place because of these characteristics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So maybe the rate of obesity, health, hobbies, dominant religion/culture, and whatnot in your area. Maybeeee race, though I'd steer clear of that. Is your place very multicultural though? Is there different languages spoken?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh ok i think i got it thank you

As an example, I would say something like, I live in a predominantly English speaking area, though Punjabi is the first language of a lot of people living here. There is not many French speaking facilities (I put this in cause I live in Canada, and French is one of our bilingual languages). There are both mosques and churches in the area, though only one synagogue, showing an abundance of Christianity and Islam.

And your welcome
