How do you go about solving this type of surface area? http://prntscr.com/4f8brg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula for solving this is 4 pi r^2, so the r here = 2.25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would it be B.95.03ft^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not actually getting the answer choices; one moment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answers are: 261.34 ft2 95.03 ft2 23.76 ft2 32.67 ft2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The surface area of a circle, as I understand it, is 4 pi r^2 4 x 2.25^2 x 3.41... Does't give any of those answers, is my concern, so my formula might be wrong, or I'm taking the information wrongly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, 2.75^2, but still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But is 95.03ft^2 infact the correct answe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you.

Sorry that took so long :D
