Late night math kill me now. A triangle has coordinates A (1, 5), B (-2, 1) and C (0, -4). What are the new coordinates if the triangle is dilated with a scale factor of 1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just draw a traingle according to the specification find the euclidean distance bewtween them..dilate it by factor of 1/5 and redraw the triangle and that will be the answer.. or other wise multiply eacy x and y by 1/5

If I could do that why would I be here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not trying to be a jerk, but come on.

I gave you the roadmap..iyou have to walk on road by yaourslef(old I can show you the way.But it's 'you' who have to walk)... where you are stuck then?
