What is an example of Frame of Reference? I know the definition is "A place or object you assume is fixed"... Please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you are standing on the ground and looking at a person in the bus going at 10 km/ hr south the velocity of that person as seen by YOU (your reference frame) is 10km/hr south however the velocity of the same person as seen by the driver (the drivers frame of reference ) is zero also.. the tree that u are seeing .. its velocity with respect to YOU is zero and the velocity of the tree as seen by the driver is 10km/hr north

So that means it's from a point of view pretty much! right?
