Hi I'm not to sure how to do this Spanish 2 Homework. Any ideas?

1. Compare and contrast Le & Les in the use of gustar, and encantar.

2. Compare and contrast the use of Gusta vs Gustan, and Encanta vs Encantan.

1. Compare and contrast Le & Les in the use of gustar, and encantar.

Gustar is more on the lines to like or to please you, and encantar is more on the likes if you love something or love to do something.
Gustar is to please or to like, so when you say me gusta, it means it pleases me or it likes me.

Some examples using le and les
A él le gusta montar en bicicleta. He likes bicycle riding.
A ella le encanta comer pizzas. She loves to eat pizzas.
A ellas les gusta nadar en el mar. They like swimming on the ocean.
A ellos les encanta tomar cerveza fría. They love to drink cold beer.

2. Compare and contrast the use of Gusta vs Gustan, and Encanta vs Encantan.

Use gusta when the object of the verb gustar is singular, the subject of the sentence can be plural or singular. In this case is ellos.
A ellos les gusta estudiar español. They like to study Spanish.

Use gustan when the object of the verb gustar is plural, the subject of the sentence can be plural or singular. In this case is yo (mí)
A mí me gustan sus ojos. I like her eyes.

Use encanta when the object of the verb encantar is singular, the subject of the sentence can be plural or singular. In this case is tú (te).
A ti te encanta comer helado. You love to eat ice cream.

Use encantan when the object of the verb encantar is plural, the subject of the sentence can be plural or singular. In this case is ella.
A ella le encantan las fiestas. She loves the parties.

Generally , you can use encantar when you like or please something a long time without change, like a preference, something you love. You can use gustar for something that can be changed in a future.
