If I use some of my medals to unlock a title, would I lose those medals and have to earn them again?

For an example if you have "234 medals" and you have 50 for hmm.. lets say bio then you unlock that and get your title. You would have to keep on answering questions to earn more medals to unlock titles. If you want all of your medals then don't unlock titles. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. You keep your medal count when you buy a title, however you lose your "smartscents".

Well, I want to unlock a title that requires 500 smartcents. I don't have 500 yet, but I have 50, which is enough to unlock a title that is just below the one I want to unlock. If I unlock the one that is worst 50 smartcents, would I have to earn those 50 all over again?

I'm talking about on writing. There is a title called "Mighty Pen" which requires 50 smartcents, and I have 50 already. But I want to get the title "The Next Shakespeare" which is worth 500 smartcents. So if I unlock the title "Mighty Pen" now, would I have to earn those 50 smartcents all over again?

yes dear u would have to earn 50 smartcents more !

Suppose u have 50 smartscents and u want to unlock the next shakespeare then u need to earn 450 more smartcents. But if u unlock the mighty pen, then u are using ur 50 smartcents. Now in order to unlock the next shakespeare u will have to earn 500 smartcents.

When u buy any title, u use ur smartcents. Medal count is unchanged.
