Which one covers large area radio wave or microwave?
Microwave signals are part of radio waves... from extremely low frequency (ELF) up to tremendously high frequency (THF)... Microwave starts at 1GHz up to THF (300 GHz)... this covers approx 299 GHz of radio waves in the upper band of Ultra High Frequency (UHF, 300 MHz to 3GHz)... other radio waves not covered by microwave are those below 1GHz or 1000MHz, 999.9999... MHz. With respect to capacity, the microwave carries more information than other radio waves... a transponder in a satellite has a bandwidth capacity of 36 MHz, a terrestrial microwave will start for as low as 3.5 MHz bandwidth up to 28 MHz... due to digital technology... broadband applications can now be implemented lower than microwave signals such as the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) usually implemented at 700MHz band (within UHF also).
