OpenStudy (mathmath333):

is it possible for a common fraction whose numerator is less than the denominator to be equal to a fraction whose numerator is greater than denominator ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No because the fraction whose numerator is less than the denominator indicates that the fraction will be always lower than 1. But the fraction that whose numerator greater will reveal that the fraction will always be greater than 1. \[\infty >1 \neq 1<i nfty\]
