Which of the following statements is TRUE? Select one: a. Vertical asymptotes can be crossed by a graph. b. Horizontal asymptotes can be crossed by a graph. c. Vertical asymptotes are determined by the factors of the numerator. d. Horizontal asymptotes are determined by the factors of the denominator.
@inkyvoyd
you can't ever cross an asymptote (you approach one but don't necessarily even reach one),
vertical asymptotes happen when the function approaches positive or negative infinity, and that happens when you divide by 0... and zero must be in the denominator for that to happen
so which one makes more sense
actually, now that i look at it, a seems to make the most sense in this context, because you can keep going after an asymptote...
thnx
