Hello, I am a bit struggling with Genetics. I have a problem: The DNA The base composition of one stranded of a circular DNA molecule is 28% A, 20% T and 22% C. a) What is the percentage of G in the same strand? MY ANSWER: G 30% (because 100-28-20-22=30% b) What is the base composition of the complementary strand?MY ANSWER: (A=20%, T=28%, C=30%, G=22% c)What is the overall base composition of the double-helical DNA? I really don't understand what they mean by 'overall base composition', do I need to divide the percentage of bases in both strands by two and give the answer?
(sorry, it wasn't enough space to write how I understood it): FOR EXAMPLE: overall base composition of G: (22+30):2=26% and the same with other bases?
@Abhisar maybe you could have a look?:)
Hello @Kamille !
hey:}
Your first two answers are correct !
could you explain how I could solve the third one?
I think u correct for the third one too !
*u are
