This is a very easy problem.  Divide the cost by the number of ears of corn to figure out the unit price of each ear.  See the results below.  

$1.25/6=0.21 per ear.  
$2.64/12=0.22 per ear
$7.20/36=0.20

Therefore, the 36 ears of corn at $7.20 is the best buy
