OpenStudy (mokeira):

ask away

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does the graph below represent a proportional relationship? A. No, because it is not linear. B. Yes, because it is a straight line that passes through the origin. C. Yes, because it is a straight line that does not pass through the origin. D. No, because a proportional relationship does not have to be a straight line.

OpenStudy (mokeira):

lol..its just phrase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, the line does pass through the origin.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's say that. :)

OpenStudy (mokeira):

to know if a line is proportional, get two points and see if they are proportional.

OpenStudy (mokeira):

passing through the centre is not a good enough reason

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it b or no

OpenStudy (mokeira):

lets take two points (2,2) and (5,5) we can tell that the ration is 1:1 for both so the line IS PROPORTIONAL...thats for sure. and it clearly does pass through (0.0) just as @AnnalieseBronz said...so your answer is right lol. i was just explaining
