No. You dont simplify only one proportion. Another proportion you can use is: \[\frac{ x }{ 16 }\]. Therefore you can create the equation \[\frac{ 1 }{ 7.5 }=\frac{x}{16}\]

One way to find x is to multiply the numerator of the first equation with the denominator of the second eqution. What is the answer for that? (1*16=?)
