OpenStudy (cj49):

is it A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

am trying to wonder if its D how sure r u that its A? @cj49

OpenStudy (cj49):

The subject is the person/thing "doing" the verb. The verb is the "action" word. The object is the object/person that the verb is being done to. Therefore, "Lucy" and "Neil" are the subjects because they are meeting someone. "Met" is the action being done - the verb. And "Morey" is the object/person that is being met by Lucy and Neil, so it is the object of the verb.
