Similarity:
Both are cell divion by which new cells are formed.

Difference:
Mitosis is equational division by which daughter cells of equal ploidy is formed i.e haploid produces haploid and diploid produces diploid daughter cells while meiosis is reduction division by which haploid daughter cells are produced.
