10) circle the multiplicative inverse of 12. 1/12, -12, -1/12, 1 11)use the multiplicative inverse to solve the equation and check your solution.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Multiplicative inverse is simple as putting one as a numerator (1/x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 1/12 ?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now how do i solve the equation and check your solution using multiplicative inverse?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Just remember this: Since 12*1=12 (multiplicative identity) Inverse would be: 12*1/12 and you would get 12/12=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks again. one more question do you remember last problem we just did?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Maybe. What happnened?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was it always,sometimes,or never true?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I don't get what you're talking about. The last question that I did with you was with the dimensions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind i will repost it and tag you in it

@calculusxy

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Yeah
