An object is moving with velocity v(t)=6t+6 m/sec. Find the distance traveled by the object between time t=0 and t=5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so if velocity considered the 2nd derivative, and acceleration is the 3rd derivative, im guessing derivative of 6t+6 = 6m/s^2 which is the acceleration. but how do i get the distance traveled? acceleration formula? a = (change in speed) / time?

i just answered my own question. *facepalm*
