VECTOR/PLANE GEOMETRY FUN!! (The vectors a and b are normals to two distinct planes. Both planes pass through the origin. OP=ta cross b where t is a scalar. a) describe the set of all points P in relation to the two planes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that a cross b will give the vector perpendicular to both a and b .... but how this relates to the other two planes im still trying to think about....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also, since they both pass through 0,0,0 then they can't be paralell? since they both have to intersect in a line containing this point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i got it - does OP have to be the line where the two planes intersect?
