3x + 5y = 30

OpenStudy (andone):

y=mx+b <= That's Slope-Intercept form.. Where x is the slope and b is the y intercept. To get y on the left side by itself you first subtract 3x from both sides, your equation: 5y = -3x + 30 Now divide both sides by 5 to isolate y... y = -3/5x + 30 <That's your answer!! OR y = -0.6 + 30 <== That's your answer!!

@andone please can you expalin it step by step

OpenStudy (andone):

I did

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@andone ATTENTION please you divide both sides by 5 so this mean that you need dividing the 30 too not lust -3x ,or not ? so than y = (-3x +30)/5 = (-3x)/5 +6 yes ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

sorry lust wann being just
