what is the product of 4 2\3 and 11 1\4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 2/3 is also known as 13/3 11 1/4 is also known as 45/4 finding the product of an equation means to multiply, so... 13/3 mult. 45/4 is 585/12 or 48 3/4 hope this helps!

Hmm, I think 4 & 2/3 is actually 14/3, not 13/3, so the answer should be 630/12, or 52 & 1/2 :)
