If you needed to determine how to pronounce a new word you are learning, what would be the best resource?

Dictionary

Encyclopedia

Glossary

Thesaurus

I'd say dictionary because an encyclopedia is a range of book set on one subject. A glossary might help, but they are mainly for definitions - they occasionally have the pronunciation in them. A thesaurus include synonyms and related topics, not necessarily pronunciation. Dictionaries have the definition and pronunciation as well as the word used in a sentence for better understanding.

So I say dictionary.
