Algebra Help Linear Function f is transformed twice to produce g. Write g(x) in terms of f(x). f is translated 5 units down, then 4 units right. Show work please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) is translated 4units to the right, it becomes f(x-4) from then, it is translated 5units down, it becomes f(x-4) -5 At this moment, it becomes g(x) So that: g(x) = ???? Can you finish the rest?? And: Do you get me??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) =x-9 I think so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, nope , nope!!! g(x) = f(x-4) -5 You CAN'T combine like terms like that, because they are NOT like terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
