I have a question, will anyone answer it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the second answer 8 3/8

OpenStudy (mrnood):

It tells you EXACTLY how to do it in the question. Divide the area by the width . Give it a try - if oyu need help - post ypour working here...

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Length x width = Area Therfore to find the length you can divide Area by the width: 44 2/3 divided by 5 1/3 which gives you 8 3/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm here cause I'm a retarded lazy kid, I don't know what the hell this is so thats why I am asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry gave the answer away :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its alright

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Well did you read my explanation ploopgraal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not to be rude but can anyone answer Which expression is equivalent to the expression Four and one-eighth divided by five and two-fifths? thirty-three eighths times twenty-seven fifths thirty-three eighths times five twenty-sevenths eight forty-firsts times fifty-two fifths forty-one eighths times five fifty-seconds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I did, I have to practice this more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm doing terrible in math

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

This is very simple if you just think it through. Did you understand what I put? It's basically just dividing and multiplying.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at your profile pic then look at me

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

The second question basically says divide 4 1/8 by 5 2/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind, I'll try and do it myself since I'm not getting any help

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@ploopgraal You will get help just be patient

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm like a cranky fat dude at a mcDonalds drive thru

OpenStudy (mrnood):

and also be prepared to do some of the work for yourself

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

\[\huge 4 \frac{ 1 }{ 8} \div 5 \frac{ 2 }{ 5 } = ?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so you basically just gave me the question I just asked?

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

. well I'm trying to help ploopgraal

OpenStudy (mrnood):

dividing fractions is less straightforward in someqways than decimals. however - YOU CAN START BY CONVERTING THEM TO 'IMPROPOER FRACTIONS' so 4 1/8 = 33/8 can you do the same for 5 2/5

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

I want to be clear that you do understand what that says.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

By giving me the question I asked? Its like someone needing surgery "Help I need surgery!" and you reply "You need surgery"

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Find the Least common denominator. Let me know if you do not know how to do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I need to perform surgery on myself? Got it!

OpenStudy (mrnood):

@ploopgraal you have 2 people helping - do oyu want to carry on trying? I suggest you convert as I said to improper fraction can you convert 5 2/5 to an improper fraction (like 4 1/8 = 33/8)??

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Don't except me to just give you the answer. it's either we'll go by through the steps together or whatever. and I do not know which ones you understand after all you called your self a "lazy retard." That is why I am repeating the obvious.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks captin helpful

OpenStudy (mrnood):

IF you are rude and expect the answer immediately given to you then you are in the wrong place. Make an effort and you will be helped

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

thank you MrNood

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I-Dont-Know-Thats-Why-Im-On-This-Website-I-Could-Have-Asked-A-IRL-Teacher-If-I-Wanted-This-Kind-Of-Help

OpenStudy (mrnood):

so you don't want to contribute to solving this for yourself?

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Lol ploopgraal if you need help on a specific thing just say so. Don't just paste a question and expect us to give you the exact thing you need.

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Well then you're in the wrong place my friend. We do NOT give away answers here.

OpenStudy (mrnood):

I have reported @ploopgraal for abuse

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

Then you could have told me that from the beginning. I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to help someone who is not willing to appreciate the explanation.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

You did not have to delete that @ploopgraal. I think we all read it. Good luck with your work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry this was all my fault I give him the answer.
