This is the history section, not the math section. However, I can help you! Break 162 into its factors till it's just a series of prime numbers multiplied together. Then, look for the squares (two of the same numbers multiplied together). These can be square rooted, and have one of them move to the outside. After you've finished simplifying in this way, you should have your answer. if this wasn't clear I can explain more.
