One ideal voltage source and ideal current source in series

OpenStudy (kenljw):

Ideal voltage source has zero input impedance and a ideal current source has infinite input impedance, the series arrangement has infinite impedance. The voltage across a current source can be anything dependent on circuit, therefore the series arrangement act as a current source and the voltage source as no meaning, the same with added series resistance to a ideal current source.
