For f(x)=4x+1 and g(x)=x^2-5 find (g/f)(x)? a. x^2-5/4x+1, x = 1/4 b. x^2-5/4x+1 c. 4x+1/x^2-5 d. 4x+1/x^2-5, x = +- √ 5 I really confused by all the numbers and fractions. Do I put g(x)=x^2-5 on the top (g/f)(x) and f(x)=4x+1on the bottom or is it reversed and then what about the x next to this (g/f)(x)? Thanks to those who can help and explain!
