Hi, It has 2 from each vertex. <==ANSWER There are 5 vertices on a pentagon. You can't draw a diagonal to the starting point or 2 either adjacent vertex. So the number of diagonal you can draw from a vertex of an n-sided polygon is n - 3. In the case of a 5 sided pentagon, that means there are 5 - 3 or 2 diagonals from each corner. If you draw them from each corner of the pentagon, it forms a 5 pointed star. I hope that helps!! :-)
