OpenStudy (kamille):

What is the function of topoisomerase? a) relieving strain in the DNA ahead of the replication fork b) elongation of new DNA at a replication fork by addition of nucleotides to the existing chain c) unwinding of the double helix d) stabilizing single-stranded DNA at the replication fork Hey @oOKawaiiOo again ^^. Can you please have a look into this? I know that topoisomerase is responsible for overwinding or underwinding of DNA, but I am a bit confused - isn't helicase responsible for unwinding of double helix? So the answer should be A?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

let me ask google.

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

I think A is the answer

OpenStudy (kamille):

thanks both Google and you;)
