Help Please!!! A local farmer notices that the level of water in the pond behind his house has been going down. Temperatures have been very high in the area, but there are also a lot of animals on his farm that may be drinking the water. What is causing the water to go down?

This question could have many different answers. The high temperatures could be heating up the water to the point where it is evaporating. Another thing that could be happening is that the animals could be drinking the water, although most likely this is not the main factor, because a few farm animals are unlikely to be able to drink enough to lower the water level. There also could be many other factors including a dry spell or something else contributing to the lower water level.
